Community health services are available for everyone. As part of South Gippsland Hospital our community services aim to keep you living at home and in your community as independently as possible.
We ask you to help us identify the things that are important to you and what you want to achieve. Then together we help put in place the right solutions. We work with you to help you do as much as you can for yourself to help maintain your independence. We want you to be at the centre of every decision.
We offer affordable health care. Some fees are charged according to your ability to pay but these can be negotiated or waived if payment is difficult. Health Care Card holders are charged a discounted fee.
We provide a broad range of services and activities to help local residents develop healthy lifestyles and prevent and manage illness. The centre provides access to many different health practitioners such as nurses, counsellors, diabetes educators, allied health (Physiotherapist, Podiatrist, OT and Dietician) and other specialised clinics.
