Allied Health Assistant – Casual

Grade 2 (TC1)

Position Description

A position currently exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Allied Health Assistant to join our dynamic Allied Health team to provide backfill during periods of current AHA staff leave on a casual basis. Working closely with, or under the supervision of primary care clinicians, the Allied Health Assistant is responsible for performing a range of Allied Health related functions both in the acute hospital setting and the Community Health Centre.

The position will involve working within a team environment to provide Allied Health Professionals with clinical, administrative and clerical support. Advanced computer literacy is required, along with sound organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.

  • under supervision of the above, a provisional psychologist or suitably qualified, counsellor or therapist

Physiotherapist –Casual

An opportunity exists for a Physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration to join our dynamic Allied Health team.
You will be providing high quality Physiotherapy services in association with other clinicians, the client and family/carers in the community setting.
We are looking to build and strengthen our allied health team by providing the successful applicant with networking and collaborative opportunities in conjunction with local facilities.
This position will be for 1 day a week, with the opportunity for increased EFT to provide backfill for our existing Physiotherapist when required.
