The Maintenance/Facilities Manager is a key leadership role responsible for the leadership, management and strategic development of the maintenance team at SGH. The position also provides management oversight of environmental and catering services

We are looking for a dynamic, professional manager who is a motivated leader who will role model the SGH Values of Adaptability, Trust, Excellence, Accountability and Mutual Respect and meets the following criteria

1.    High level knowledge of the requirements of facilities, environmental and catering services in a health setting

2.    Experience in leading a maintenance team

Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse Midwife

Grade 2 – 0.84 FTE part time   

Position Description

In this role you will provide evidence based patient centred care within your scope of practice as allocated by the nurse in charge within the birthing suite and/or the acute ward, and the urgent care centre.

The successful applicant must demonstrate the following attributes:

·      Current Registration with Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board as a Registered Nurse / Midwife

·      Ability to provide evidence based midwifery and/or nursing care as part of a interdisciplinary team

·      Ability to work across all shifts on the roster including night duty and weekends

·      Demonstrated experience and expertise in nursing and midwifery care (where applicable)

·      Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication

Cleaner

Position Description

A cleaning position is available within the Environmental Service department. Shift hours are varied, across a 7 day/week roster.

Cleaning experience is preferred, however full training will be provided.

Physiotherapist –Casual

An opportunity exists for a Physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration to join our dynamic Allied Health team.
You will be providing high quality Physiotherapy services in association with other clinicians, the client and family/carers in the community setting.
We are looking to build and strengthen our allied health team by providing the successful applicant with networking and collaborative opportunities in conjunction with local facilities.
This position will be for 1 day a week, with the opportunity for increased EFT to provide backfill for our existing Physiotherapist when required.
