Falls Prevention Program starts 7 September

The next 10 week Falls Prevention Program starts September 7.  The program is run by the Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist. The 10 week program of weekly presentations covers falls and balance issues and an exercise class tailored to address client’s balance needs. The program aims to assist you to take control of your everyday lives by identifying falls risks and implementing safety strategies, for example, getting in and out of chairs or walking up and down stairs. Clients can be referred to the program by hospital staff, community support services or their doctor.
