Radiology services are provided on an inpatient and outpatient basis to South Gippsland Hospital and the local community by South Gippsland Radiology.

The private imaging practice is located within the hospital facility. A referral is required from a medical professional or chiropractor to comply with Medicare regulations.

Services include:

• X-rays
• Ultrasounds (used to study a person’s internal body structures)
• CT scans (shows the body in cross-section, revealing both soft tissue and bone)
• Full body composition scans (measures body fat, bone and lean mass)
